A poem for people who think they know their significant others when in reality you were blinded to what they were. The answer was right there, this poem shows us we need to open our eyes. When around people we can see that they are an Open book

An Open Book

An open book ready for millions of hands to touch sign and handle
Crinkled pages with coffee stains as you turn page to page.
Like a broken record I keep hearing this consistent persistent and insistent beat in my mind
Just like a needle in a haystack is hard to find...
Just like a 1000 jigsaw puzzle is hard to fit piece by
And everyone has different books in your library
Unconventional situations are resolved by remaining incomplete and stealing a puzzle piece from someone's destiny -
So when they look back they think maybe it could have been....
Colours are clear
Colours are bright
The spectrum that has been exhibited this past year has taken a few individuals by surprise.
But not the surprised associatedwith joy-
Oh boy!
I've seen your true colours shining through
For if I were in Venus, I could see them clearer even if an illustrator painted it in a story book-
And an archaeologist shone a torch on the crumpled pages you've bought..
The crumpled pages that symbolise you
But you don't see that do you...
Anyway like a gypsy in a tent it's time I left
Before you pull me further into your depth.
