Anarchy and Apathy (Poem)

Laws so voluminous they’d fill the seas,

Keeping good men, good women on their knees,

Society hell-bent obscuring rules,

Lawyer tools placate the rest of us fools,

God is a dog, and the dog is a god,

We may attain, but God barely gets nod,

Up is now down, and down is further still,

Black Ages were dark, but Stygian we seek,

We watch the destroyers, but stand by meek,

Anarchy rises across this dark world,

Apathy grows as our blessings are hurled,

Into the abyss, both deep and so dark,

Fires eternal, with just one lone spark,

Our souls now alive and burning so bright,

Might save nation from going into night,

Anarchy – disease of the mind and soul,

Will be erased if our spirit is bold!
