A poem on the decisions we ought to take at the crucial point in life. This is written keeping the penultimate year of college life in mind.

At The Crossroads

Gone are the good times & numbered are the days,
As a panicking mind casts an uncertain gaze.
The fun & banter this moment it ceases,
As serious competition between peers it oozes.
In a moment will we be at the crucial crossroad of life,
Ready for a choice that can turn life into joy or strife.
O you of all,may you triumph over the ever-destroying slumber,
Succumb to it & chopped are your prospects like felled lumber.
Short is the time for the crucial choice ever,
For it's better late than an evading never.
May the futile fears fall on deaf ears ,
Dedication to passion & glorious will be your years.
On a leaving note is a reminder of the tide to come,
For your stance from now reflects a life to cry or hum.
