Besides all the other worthless things that I do, I also carve wood sculptures, make canes and walking sticks, furniture too. The other day we were at local art show, okay fine...We were at the swap Meet trying to hoc some of this crap when this came...I hope you like it.

At the Art Showcase

At the Art Showcase

At the exhibition
A selfless self promoter
Had brought a heavy-lidded woman
He reassembled in fantasy
Who was slightly draped
In arduous jewelry
And froze in a bronze frieze.
She now dominates the façade.

Butterflies, and peacocks

Sculptures of stained glass fish,
Butterflies, and peacocks
Swim through the flora-designs
Almost effortlessly
In the eyes and minds
Of passers-bye.
The room features nude women,
Giant eating utensils,
And curved furniture
Hung from the ceiling.

Wallpaper

There were brightly colored insects
Pinned on the wallpaper
Which stretched along
Both sides of the Seine,
From the Eiffel Tower
To Alexander Bridge.

Glass Boxes

It was a nice walk, mostly,
If not for the dancing clowns
And countless miens
Who were all tightly stuck
In invisible glass boxes
And could not,
For the life of them,
Find their way out.

I have been writing since the beginning of time it seems, not because I want to write, but because I have too. My favorite form of writing is poetry, all kinds and types of poetry.

"all the other worthless things that I do"

is anything truly ever worthless like this?

Our invisible glass box is not worthless either, and thank God you think something of your poetry, enough to put it here on wikinut.

Keep doing what is worthless, it all has its worth, thanks Utah Jay.

I wish I could see images of your carvings for this piece. I'm sure they are lovely -- and not useless at all!!

You are such a good man spirited, and you are right, of course, nothing is really worthless except that which one cannot fit into their heart.

I really like your reply Utah Jay, not the bit about me so much but the poetic words about what's worthless as what one cannot allow or fit into ones heart.

Phil and CD, I will post some pictures if I can, the problem is that my new camera is too big and I cannot fit the pictures into wikinut and I haven't learned how to reduce them, but my wife tells me that she can...There's just so many, but I do have some old ones I can post. Thank both of you so much for reading. I will get to you asap as we must go and bring our son back to his condo from the hospital. His first surgery since his accident last Saturday...Many more to fallow I'm afraid. I have been just stopping in long enough to thank my friends for reading, post something quickly, and back to hospital again. God bless everyone.
