This is a poem of a timeless question, and the discovery of the answer in nature's beauty.

Beyond Mystery

Bounded by the walls of my mind,
I come to watch the sea,
To look beyond all mystery
Where the horizon bends,
To spin with the earth again
And start anew the day-

White Waves

Dissolving into blue,
Melding into the light-
On the wings
Of the white-capped waves,
Crashing against the rocks.

Wind's Song

All hope …
Coded within the beauty of nature-
The wind is it's song.

Listen…

The tempo of time-
Sea against the shore,
And then, the vast silence of the sky.

I just don't know how you keep doing it, Delicia. Such beautiful evocative poetry, and Mike's awecome pictures as a bonus. Wonderful.

Between your beautiful words and Mike's pictures, I can feel the sand between my toes, I can hear the water crashing against the rocks and I can smell the salt in the air. Just beautiful my friend. Thank you for sharing.:)

Steve, Buzz, Val and Denise, thank you for sharing a bit time with me:0)

Out here in California we've had 10 days of unusually cool weather. Mid to high 70's.... It's usually low to mid 90's this time of year. I'm enjoying it while it lasts. So sorry you're having to deal with the heat. Stay cool and enjoy that lemonade! :)

Good to see you Richard, glad you stopped by. I live on the coast... but not right by the sea...if you look out my windows all is forest,, which I love too, and we are very near to the sea so I am blessed doubled to have two such beautiful parts of nature so close at hand...All of England is lovely, such history in every corner, from the patch work fields of green to the city with cathedrals...someday I hope to return and see it all once again...thanks Richard:0)
