Bitter patience

This is a poem that express our inner feelings about human nature and waiting -

Patience

Patience is bitter,
but its fruit is sweet.
Celebrate what you
want to see more of.
The true measure of a man –
is not how he behaves in moments of comfort and
convenience but
how he stands at times of
controversy and challenges.

It's not what you achieve,
it's what you overcome.
That's what defines your career.
Success usually comes to
Those who are too busy –
to be looking for it.
The great thing in the world is not-
So much where we stand, as
in what direction
we are moving.

A little and a little,
collected together,
become a great deal;
the heap in the barn consists of
single grains, and
drop and drop make the inundation.
Life does not obey
our expectations.
Life obeys
our intentions,
in ways we may not expect.

Rezaul: You write really good free-verse poetry. I have never tried to do that but maybe I will take a shot at it.
Thanks.

How clever to put such wisdom into a poem. I rather like the thought - success usually comes to
those who are too busy –
Well done
