A poem about my favorite color and the sorrow filled with it.

Black is a swaying branch against a vivid blue sky.
Waiting for its time to shine.
Black is a cry in the middle of the night.
Cause' the one they hold dear has left this time.
Black is the darkness that holds my life
Waiting to see the light once again.
Black is a shuddering flower on a cold night
Wanting the sun's rays to come aglow.
Black tastes like a dark life touching upon your tongue
Hoping to see what you may want.
Black smells like the breeze on the mid summer sky hoping to find your life
so that it may show you its love again.
Black sounds like black the whistling of the leaves in the darkness of your soul
Waiting to go into the deep emptyness of your heart.
Black looks like the swirling stars in the mid night sky.
Dancing forever in a place we may once see.
Black makes me cry a river
For one day this time will end.
Black is my love for you
Haunting my eternal soul in a never ending warmth, with a comforting glow.
