A Poem of Braving a terrible storm through a child's eyes

Braving the storm

The storm is getting worse
The seas are becoming wild
This is a really horrible curse
Through the eyes of a child

The violent wind was a howling
Lightning shooting through the trees
While the children were cowering
Waiting nervously for a simple breeze

Rain lashing against their face
The wind biting right to the core
Wanting there mothers embrace
Relieved to reach the open door

Indoors was there warm target
Shelter from the terrible storm
The children have finally made it
How lovely and lovingly warm

Children, Mothers Heart, Mothers Love, Storm, Storms, Stormy Weather
