But when I want to write something

Well, I wanted to write something.
And this is what I did as just wrote whatever came out of my mind.

When you don't have anything to write

When you really want to write something and somehow you don't get anything to write at that instance, what will you do?

As you want to write an article anyway and you think a kind of writer's block stops you from typing (not writing in fact), you can browse through the Net and eke out some good article born of your own creativity ( what I mean by creativity here is an ability by which you trigger your imagination to come out of that block and really type out an article then and there).

It so happens that I would wonder at a photograph when I look at its intricate and hidden characteristics that makes it outstanding either by the light and shade or the pure peculiarity of its capture in a particular angle.

An object in reality may look very mundane but when it is shot by a camera, that object gets transformed into an excellent image or an absurd reality of discombobulated pixels that makes the real object very unattractive and you don't want to like it because of many reasons that would have spoiled its naturalness by capturing it onto your camera.

For example, I wanted to write something that is interesting to read. I also wanted to spice up with some pics on the page I wanted to post here at Wikinut.

An idea flashed on my mind to publish a page about dancers, after writing about the birthday of Chennai because on that page I added a beautiful Bharatanatyam dancer's image while concluding.

In fact, when I searched the Net for the some information about dancers, I ended up writing about the more entertaining and much dangerous sport of cheer-leading. Then the page about the dangers of cheer-leading ensued.

I was drawn to the astonishing circus-like gimmicks of the young cheerleaders who dared to risk their lives for such an unsafe sport.

So, when something unusual fascinates me, I would think of writing about it instantaneously, but I can't stop myself from searching for more and more as the Net is an endless entanglement of entertaining education that never allows me to do my job as decided.

And I would be surfing to know more but one side my other self nags and cautions me to stop at once and start doing the intended writing job.

I don't know for certain whether some of you experience this kind of unabated search with an unsatiated quest for unproductive knowledge.

But it happens to me often and I dive deep into many pages that take me from hyperlink to another amusing hyperlink endlessly detouring me my object of contention.

In expressing we forget ourselves.
That's why I suggest you to open up your heart and tell us what you feel.

Wonderful article, my dear friend.

I write from imagination. Whatever that comes to mind with its interplay, I just write down, like the psychic's automatic writing, never mind if anything makes sense. Before I know it, the article is finished.

Some great suggestions, Rath! I gues the main thing is just to get started and see what results.

Interestinfg that You use photogrpahs as visual stimulus. I often use a real-world image outside my house or a vivid visual memory to start me off.

Thank You for having the courage to follow your "whatever comes to mind" instinct, and for producing such good advice.

NIce write up about writing. I liked this part especially, " trigger your imagination to come out of that block" WTG friend. I appreciate also the encouragement you wrote for me as a poet posting here like so many other poets have. You have the knack to lift a newbe's spirit. I really have thought of quitting already but I'm still here, lol

So often I start out on one track, and find it leads me to another altogether, Rathna! What an inspirational page this is..

Here, I beg to differ with you. Poetry or writing is best when it comes straight from heart or a personal experience. An idea germinates and you can use the net to get more input for your article. If you keep writing just for the sake of writing, you tend to lose focus. The writing becomes blurred. One should start with an idea or theme and progress on that. Otherwise writing becomes a babble or ramble. This is my humble opinion.
