I love to promote Montreal writers. It gives me great pleasure to showcase to the world what we can do.

Dr. Sanjay Gupta

Montrealers love Dr. Sanjay Gupta. Canadian CTV reports, we learned about him through the coverage on TV. Dr. Gupta is the chief medical correspondent for CNN. He is an assistant professor at Emery University School of Medicine and a neurosurgeon. He is also a family man and now he has become a novelist.

Fictional book in a hospital setting

Hi fictional book centers around the doctors’ professional and personal lives in a hospital, but he adds an edge never tried before; he chronicles how they cope with their mistakes.

"It's a look at a part of hospitals and a port of medicine that I think very few people know exists and even fewer have seen, and that revolves around this idea that there's a secret gathering that takes place in hospitals where doctors openly discuss their mistakes," Gupta told CTV's Canada AM Thursday. This is real. This actually happens in many hospitals and I've been part of these meetings."

Medical series based on the novel

Montrealers can expect to see a new series to be called "Chelsea Hospital", based on this novel in the near future. Montrealers love hospital dramas and they are sure not to miss this future series.

This article was written in 2012, I love to promote Montreal talent where ever I can as my loyal reader will agree.
