City Of Fright

Fright rules a city.
Torn by pain from the day light.
Hope is lost as people start to disappear.
Numbers in the streets.
Keep repeating the same number.
Life is put on hold.
As someone stolid the heart of life.
Strangers walk unknown even to themselves.
They repeat what is my name?
Who am I?
Lost souls looking for hope.
No where to be found.
As a ghost appears at midnight.
I am your host for the next hour it say's.
The most we can have is a screaming time.
A salvation army band played thru the night.
As day light came the fright was gone.
Life was to be again as the heart of life was returned.
The thief was an evil musician.
Who knew the salvation army music would play on.
The salvation army's gift of helping people sent a message to the evil musician.
A slime ridden heart he had.
His music was his only fan.
