This piece is all about going beyond reacting and extending an olive branch to those we seem to have disturbed or upset. I want to thank the Writer who probably unbeknowingly brought to me an important Karmic lesson to clear. I thank them from the bottom of my heart for there is nothing more glorious than when you have a moment of spiritual inner awareness.

Something Special...

I found out today
Something so very special
Because of what willing I to do
Go beyond man's usual way
Taking offense
Withdrawing from
Reacting to

I found out today
Placing out energy of loving
To those we think we have upset
(In reality done to ourselves
For we are all as One)
For everything we do place out
Returns to us

The olive branch a token of my love
Returned to me in many ways
(as Steve did comment on my page)
A lightness inside and out
A glorious sense of accomplishment
Of being whom I truly am
(as are we all)
A child of God

Smile upon my Face

I woke with smile upon my face
Another day to confront
The vicissitudes of life
Be they what they may

Float I did across the floor
Indeed a metaphor!!!!
Lightness filled my beingness
Joy beamed from my eyes
I glowed with inner light

Heart Cometh to the Fore

I found out today
Loving is the only key
If we want our lives to be
Happy and filled with joy
Health wealth and prosperity

It really is not hard to do
As Jesus once did say
'Turn the other cheek'
Look away from negativity
No matter what your mind doth want
Let your heart come to the front

March to the Song of Love

As we go through life
Hit at we may be
But hitting back
Not the answer surely

For then darkness
We entertain within
Ours it becomes
With all the things that darkness brings
If we do this

Gird up your loins!
(love this saying i do!)

March to the song of love
Loving all who in your way do come
In whatever way they may appear

and so it is

Quote from Loving Each Day....

The true self doesn't have anger or jealousy or greed or lust or avarice. It doesn't have any of these things; it doesn't need them. But the false self has them and needs them and fights for dear life to hang onto them.

If you could just once see within the true self, if you could get that image just once in your consciousness for a fraction of a second, you could go on for the rest of your life using that as an inner guiding light.

- John-Roger, D.S.S.
(Quoted in "Seeking the Light" by James R. Lewis, p. 30)

Good evening Carolina; I knew you would get through this and then create a wonderful poem for the rest of us. You are generous in your lessons. I value that. ~Marilyn

I like to take each day as brand new with no hangover from the past but lessons well learned. It is cruel upon ourselves not to enjoy the present as it never repeats and we are on a one way trip to a place following others who have gone ahead of us. So carpe diem - seize the day. Thanks Carolina - siva
