Confirmation of Life......Nature's cycle...

Winter is at last over, harsh mistress that she is...and Spring slowly returns to our gardens, as the earth begins to warm...and life emerges in all her early Spring finery......

Nature Wakes...

If I should need life to somehow confirm,
a walk in my garden, I then take a turn.
To see all the buds, and each fresh sign of growth,
I touch every plant that this new life now hosts..

Springtime Beckons...

After a Winter, so cold and so harsh,
Begins then the clean up, a herculean task..
And losses incurred, through Nature's harsh hand,
I accept, though I grieve, yet I do understand.

Touched By Winter's Bite..

Life is returning, and with each sign of Spring...
It lightens my heart, at the wonder it brings..
Shrubs looking frost bitten, yet I should not fear..
In time, with the sunshine, new growth will appear.

New Life Begins...

So to walk round my garden, indeed makes me smile,
I'm loving your company here with me, for a while...
Once tidied, I sit, with a well earned glass of wine..
And the confirmation of life, in this garden of mine.

April Joy.....

I hope you enjoyed seeing this garden awake,
Thank you for looking, and taking this break,
to join me in watching this new life begin...
The joy that is heartfelt, in every new Spring.

Just gorgeous my friend. All the way around. I wish I were able to take pictures of the many of flowers we have all around us here in Alabama but, my allergies have stopped me. I did get a few shots earlier in the spring but, within seconds I could not stop sneezing. So yes, I do envy those that can but, hey hon. I can enjoy the beauty just by stopping by your page. I mean just gorgeous hon. Thank you for sharing.:)

Lovely poem Songbird my friend. Spring is such a magical time of year when all the plants burst into life and seedling germinate. Beautiful close up pics too. Your aquilegia looks stunning...

Lovely, I have now retired to sunnier climes and never though I would miss Springtime in England, but this poem has made me feel quite homesick. Thanks for evoking the memories.

You catch the spirit of Spring in words that lift me to euphoric heights. And the photography - wonderful!

Winter is still here in Tamilnadu India though not as harsh as the ice bite in that pic.
