Everything in Life..

"Learn to get in touch with the silence within yourself, and know that everything in life has purpose. There are no mistakes, no coincidences, all events are blessings given to us to learn from."
-Elisabeth Kubler-Ross

Term Break

Its two more weeks before I end up my school year regular term. Today i was an assessment invigilator for mixed grades of middle school and junior highschool.

Looking back two years ago I was on my first week as substitute teacher for graders in another school and just recollecting the whole year that had passed it was a good journey half of the students inside my assigned room today I handled over 10months. Its nice to recall their mini mental metamorphosis including how other changed their ways with most simply shone their way in through the walks of their young life.

I have seen the changes right before my very eyes. Their new strength, knowledge and improvement of characters. I have seen them if not all their weaknesses, their own fear, their own lack of aptitude. How most of them never had the confidence to talk their minds. I saw them being alone in the first few weeks looking for friends to mingle with and grow with. I have witnessed their incapacity to learn bigger things on the early months. Their feign resistance to change and eventual embrace of wisdom. I have guide then collectively the right path after their level be it on subject based or the right attitude to succeed further.

Learning Adventure

The young man who wanted to be an MMA athlete yet a born leader and show great interest in debate and public speaking. He had shown potential to proceed to law school eventually. There's this big boned girl with at least 3 major blood line she confessed confused her to choose nationalities. Another guy, is so clever to host some student activities but is so shy inside the square room of my pedagogical domain. Another made magic presentation last week but at the middle of the year he can't explain the lost of $300 in his pocket. My very own advisory class singer who never thought he will be good in team sports. One oversized freshman who transferred to two classes as he kept pestering his previous class with his own brand of humor and mischievousness. A twin sisters were so timid but show off some literary glitter. Two young ladies share same name from opposite grade level have similar personality- like a shallow water runs deep. One of the most exciting student is also in this room. He is a live wire performer, he acts naturally and so bold to express in loud costume his roles that never miss to put the house down.

Good thing , we got a break to meet the same mundane and learning adventure for the rest the school year. This early I will bid them farewell since i will not renewing my contract and will try greener pasture with new flock for shepherding or a possible early retirement.
