Democratic hopefuls?

An examination of the Democratic hopefuls who might run for President. Some suggestions for who might join the fray.

You call this hopeful?

The Republican candidates for the Presidency of The United States are coming out of the woodwork in droves. Jeb Bush, Marco Rubio, Scott Walker, Chris Christie, Mike Huckabee, Donald Trump, and Ted Cruz are all making noises that sound like they want to run.
On the Democratic side I've only seen three names mentioned thus far. Hillary Clinton, VP Joe Biden and Elizabeth Warren. None of them have declared their intentions.
Hillary may have shot herself in the foot before she even gets out of the gate. I'm referring to the e-mail controversy that has raised its ugly head. At best it may only hamper her chances. At worst she could be convicted of a felony and by statute prevented from holding any public office. In any event she has much too much baggage attached to her from her past.
Elizabeth Warren? An unknown.
VP Biden? We don't need, as he is always demonstrating, another clown in the White House. However, he may be the Democratic nominee by proxy. That is, unless some other cartoonish character steps forward. Here is my list of possible Democratic candidates from that category. None of them could do any worse than the current Democrat in the White House.

Bullwinkle

Bullwinkle J Moose? He's as dumb as a box of rocks and hangs out with a short rodent. He wouldn't know a filibuster from a Nutter Butter cookie. Fits the Democratic profile. Spent too much time in Frostbite Falls, Minnesota and froze his brain. Too much thinking about and waiting for global warming. His campaign slogan could be, "Hey, watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat!"

The Hulk

The Incredible Hulk? Stronger than 100 oxen. Not much of a thinker, just a grunter. But, he's green just like all the other Democrats claim they are. He suffers from a bad case of schizophrenia. Puts Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde to shame. He has a terrible temper. He'd probably get us into innumerable wars just like previous Democratic presidents.

Felix the Cat

Felix the Cat? He'd come into office with his magic bag of tricks. Who knows what surprises he has in that bag. He'd reach into it whenever he got into a fix. If he follows Obama's example he wouldn't oppose his antagonists, the Professor and Rock-Bottom. He'd probably put them on his cabinet. One thing's for sure. If he's elected you'll laugh so much your sides will ache, your heart will go pit-o-pat.

Lex Luthor

Lex Luthor? Now there's smart guy! He's a super genius. Unfortunately, he's also super evil. His goal is to rule the world. Something the current Democratic president is dead set against. He wants us less powerful and influential. Lex would know just how to deal with the likes of ISIS, Islamic terrorists and Vladimir Putin. They're all amateurs in his eyes. He even gives Superman fits. His biggest problem is that he looks too much like Vladimir Putin. But, Democrats might vote for him anyway thinking that he's a communist. He's actually the ultimate capitalist.

Bambi

Bambi? Bambi's more in line with what would be his predecessor, Obama. Bambi would not be looked at with fear and trepidation. He too would be laughed at by other leaders. No one would follow him. His closest adviser would be a rabbit named Thumper. That name is no accident. Like all rabbits he has but one thing on his mind. Maybe Thumper should run for president. He'd be a pretty close imitation of another Democratic favorite, Bill Clinton.

Hillary would be a terrible president. She is as much beholden to the interests of the one percent as any Republican. I agree with you that Biden is a joke. We need someone like Elizabeth Warren or Bernie Sanders. All of the Republican hopefuls are scary, particularly Ted Cruz, who it seems to me is the reincarnation of Senator Joe McCarthy. He even looks like him.

What the world needs is a US president who will knock some heads together on the subject of climate change. Obama has tried to do this, and that is one reason why he is far more highly regarded outside the United States than inside.

Al Gore would be my personal choice, but I can't somehow see that happening!

If highly regarded means being laughed at then you're right John. Al Gore? You've got to be kidding!

The three democrat hopefuls, Joe, Hillary, and Liz, have all it takes -- respectively, the incompetence, the corruption, and the social radicalism -- to make for a White House win among the 47% plus their government-dependent friends who bought into the KoolAid of the current debacle of democrat regime.
