Despite its Imperfections

One would think the muddy waters of the Bay of Fundy would scare people off, but the power of the world's highest tides draws them in, each and every time.

The Power

Despite its imperfections,
The Fundy Tide still roars
Pulling away the secrets
We leave upon her shores

Muddy brown and rolling
The high tides clear a path
Collecting rafters in her waves
And those seeking muddy baths

Eating away at crumbling cliffs
Each tide will surely erase
The canvass that the last one left
Carved upon their face

Islands rise at high tide
But disappear at low
And you can walk the ocean floor
As far as the waves will go

Despite her imperfections
The Bay of Fundy wins
Goddess to the heavens
With each tide she starts again.
