This is a short poem describing the wrongdoings in today's society, and how we don't seem to combat them with just simple conscious thinking.

Don't Worry Now

We praise the loudest messenger, for his wringing voice
And not for his knowledge, nor method of choice.
We don't dare question the messengers word,
For he doesn't lie; such an accusation would be absurd.

Don't worry now,
Men, woman, girls and boys,
For what you hear, is all just noise.

We fear those who talk only of their riches
Whilst the rest of us, helplessly, clamber in our ditches.
We don't ask why we spend our time doing as such
We know we are here, and they, are out of touch.

Don't worry now
Yes, poor are many, rich are some,
But soon enough, your time will come.

We are programmed not think, its a waste of time they say
Working for us, is better use of your day.
And when you're not, you'll still have something to do,
Here, we recommend this, and this, is our point of view.

Don't worry now
If you're trapped with nowhere to go
Because the time will come, when we shall all truly know.
