Don't pity me

Sometimes we feel ashamed of what or who we've become and where we are in life..this is one of those times.

This Pitiful Life

Here I stand without a purpose
all hope has faded away,
What a mess my life is in
how much longer can I bear to stay,
Another breath, another hour,
another tear falling to the ground
snatching up all my power,
So many questions going through my head,
how did I get here and why did I say what I said,
Once in awhile I think life is good and I come back for more,
but then it really starts to pour,
What a pitiful life I have made,
but here I stand in my own life as a captive never to be free
until all my debts have been paid.

Depression, Hopeless, Pity, Shame, Sinner

Thanks Songbird B! I'm glad you enjoyed it and that's just what I was going for.
