I don't if it is the smile I get while writing things like this, or its just the time I wasted in the effort that makes me do it, but I do it just the same.

Dorothy, the Tin Man, the Witch, the Wedding, and the Flowers

Dorothy, the Tin Man, the Witch, the Wedding, and the Flowers

And now comes Dorothy,
Charming little Dorothy
And her little dog Toto
Walking down the streets of the big city
With three men in disguise,
And Dorothy
Thinking they were in Oz.

Notice the Smiles Here

Now notice
The men’s smiles here

And the Lion's too.
As all these smiles
Were rather thin smiles
And malicious in nature
Though and through.

Two With Beady Eyes

Two of them
With their beady eyes

On the girls ruby red slippers,
While the third man,
A rather shiny fellow
Always looking for oil,
Had need of a heart.

And I for an I

And I, for an I,
On this occasion
And all others
When it comes to three,
Always points to me
You see,
A kleptomaniac of love
With a squeak.

And There We Were

And there we were,
The bunch of us,
Two about to become rich,
One (me) an owner of love,

While the fourth
Gets the dog and the fame
Same as she always had.

In My Thoughts

Of course,
In my thoughts,
And in the minds of the Lion
And the Scarecrow,
A trade like this is fair game
And it matters not
What the dog thinks,
I mean, as small as he was,
And being out numbered
By three
,
As it were.

And in Comes the Witch

And in comes the witch.
And that bitch
Wanted everything,
And wouldn’t you know it
Of a modern girl, like she was.

Throwing a wrench in the works
Like that,
And just my size a wrench
As it were.

What did We Do

And what did we do?
You say.
Well what could we to do,
But eat the cake
And bring the flowers too…After all,
Its legal now
In 26 states
And so the Lion kissed the bride.

I have been writing since the beginning of time it seems, not because I want to write, but because I have too. My favorite form of writing is poetry, all kinds and types of poetry.

Is anybody really an owner of love, not even God owns love, or does he?

You're certainly not lion here though, I loved the lions and your lines, Utah Jay.

Well no spirited, and then yes, you see the tin man needs a heart and he thinks the heart is love, so yes, and any way, just something fun to do for a day.
