Ever have family or friends stay over at your place for what would only be a while, and when that while is over, you find that it's so nice they don't want to leave? But what to do? Oh, simply start building and extend your house for them, 'sall.

Elmarie and Stingley won't go away to their own place

Elmarie and Stingley had their own plan that when they arrive in Westland, they would spend one night with us at Canyon Manoir and then go to their own crockai house they had built at Nackby.

But one night soon turned into two and then a week.

I thought I would mind because last time Elmarie's little boys were a handful. And with a handful I mean they were insufferable. Fortunately they've grown up somewhat and aren't quite as rude and ill-mannered as they used to be.

Anyway, I don't mind as much that they keep staying on here at all. It's like we've all grown up and fight a lot less amongst ourselves.

Anyway, it isn't long before they convince Father to actually build them chambers added to Canyon Manoir. Good grief, seems spending isn't an option in their minds but anyway.

So, it's merely a day or three before Waldorfski and the servants actually start building the new added chambers for Elmarie and Stingley. Seriously, must they have their own Westland house and have their own chambers in Canyon Manoir? Seems so.

So, the Canyon Manoir Castle is still being extended as we speak. I like this place. It looks like a stone castle towering on top of a giant ledge that looks down upon the river in the canyon. Like something out of a fairytale.

If only it wasn't 14 hours drive here from Tower Hills, we would probably visit the ol' place a lot more. As it is, I always feel a resistance in me to come here. But, once that day or two of constant driving is behind one, I'm usually so glad that I did whiteknuckle it out and did come here. It's beautiful and scerene, and we hope it always stays this way.
