Fall Walks Through the Door

I like all seasons, fall is one of my favorites. I like the growing with change.

Autumn Moon

Autumn moon in the sky, the forest is dressed and adorned
with prisms of colors.
Air is crisp for the fall.

Drippings of sunshine kiss the ground.
Gods' rakes are the winds.

Aroma of the leaves are fresh and full
of bark being stripped.

Scatter your arms and legs on a leaf blanket
with a friend.

Roses have changed and so have you.

Morning mists in the air make moist leaves.
Afternoon sun dries them.

Streams catch the forsaken twigs that drop.

The door to autumn never closes, nor
winter, spring, or summer.

The revolving doors are happy with each season.

Like the Imagery!!! You Inspired this:

Copper Quilt

Golden Sunshine shining tall,
Copper trees about to fall.
Slowly covering her with a quilt,
While the Sun to Winter tilt.

In Copper beauty she sleeps at night,
With holding the Silver Moon so tight.
Kissing and clambering into his arms,
While silver ribbons enhance her charms.

With the warmth of the Quilt for a new tomorrow,
To bring abundance devoid of sorrow.
For from the leaves form manure for plant,
Dark and Dank does decay as Sun does slant.

For from the skies arises the dew,
To show in passion to rinse anew.
Bringing together the carpet of white,
To hide the change that is in sight.

For under that blanket comes a new life,
The beauty and promise to Creators Wife.
Filling the air with Fragrance to come,
With birth of tomorrow gift of life to some.

For with the beauty comes the Rainbow Smile,
Riotous colour that lasts a while.
To bring together the Ring of Love,
Bountiful treasured by the Above.

Copper Leaves, soft in hue,
Turn to green in Spring anew.
To fill the world with new life again,
With Chirpping of birds the angelic strain.

You call it Fall. I call it Autumn. Whatever it's called, it's the BEST season, isn't it?
