From the old emerge the new
From the old the new is called out
no matter how the old was
the new deserve a better acceptation

From the Old

From the old

From the old
I awake
Into the new
I live
From the old
I write
Into the new
I sing
From the old
I emerge
Into the new
I sink

The old month is gone
The new month is here
Fresh and new
It lives
And is alive with you
It awake
To lead you through
As you thread every path

Live in it
Smile in it
Embrace it with all you have
Encouraged yourself in all you experience
And don't allow the worries it may entail
Occupy your peace

The old month is gone
The virgin month
Will smile at you
Smile back if you can
Hold no grudge against it
The old
Let it die
Into extinction
No matter how bitter it was
No matter how wonderful it was
It was just a preparation
For the new month

Abound in the grace you have
And let mercy prevail
For favour to help you survive

For when all is done
And the unexpected happens
And you wish
You were never in it
If only you
Take a break
And think on one thing
The life you are soaring with
You would know simply the truth
The one starling truth

God owns you and the time
And you are god
And you deserve the best
In the month
You live in

Open up your heart
And boldly
Tell yourself
The good wish
You want
As you announce the breaking dawn of a new month
With joy

Happy New Month
