This poem was written as I explored the inner emotion of people who are afraid of the future.

We chase lies all our lives,
Looking for truth in disguise,
Sometimes we find what is not clear,
We keep seeking for a new frontier.

As children play, we use life as a game,
No one to tell us nothing stays the same,
We feel misfortune coming our way,
Open your eyes, tomorrow could be the day.

Sorrow I feel for the shamed,
Borrowed from those they have blamed,
Either one lives on or will die,
Who will stand at your grave and cry?

We are following those who lead,
They do not want to hear us plead,
They try to show all things to fear,
So we will keep seeking a new frontier.

Sadness I feel for the uninformed,
Their lives will be the first ones stormed,
Either one lives on or will die,
Who will stand at your grave and cry?

Chasing lies, running from fear,
Searching for a new frontier.
