Full Moon

Two poems describing the moon and it's mystic beauty and charm...

Golden Moon

The full moon enchants the evening sky
In a beguiling pool of luminous light,
Capturing the night in a mysterious glow-
Enrapturing lovers and rousing tales of woe,
Astonishing sphere - master of tides
And longings for the unknown.
A mystical wanderer of celestial delight...

November Night

The wind rattles my window,
On this November's night,
In my warm covers I snuggle down.
The sky star-filled--cold and bright,
The golden beauty of this sight
Has a sense of endless history.

As the light shines upon my bed,
Time comes to rests its weary head.
Was I sleeping or awake to see,
The moon give glow
To each bared branch tree...

Great poems, I also really enjoyed the first one. The moon is such a perfect object to write about. Alfred Noyce called it a 'ghostly galleon'. I just loved that too. Excellent work, will be keeping an eye out for more :D
