A couple of haiku's I've written on various topics. This batch involves haiku about my parents, breastfeeding, resentment and gluttony. Hope you find time reading these short poetry.

Batch I

For My Dad

You are my fortress
My shield when I am distressed
Dad, I am thankful.

For my Mom

In my mother’s arms
Where I am always welcome
I find my solace.

On Breastfeeding

My heart and my kids'
Nursed by my breasts' every drop
Latched on with pure love

In Denial

How dare you complain,
“I haven’t eaten enough!”
Your tummy says not!

Chocolate is sweet
The sea water tastes salty
And you are bitter

As dark as the night
Your thoughts has been going wild
Positive, you're not.
