Readily APOLOGIZE when you know you have wronged someone ~ and quickly FORGIVE when you have been mistreated or insulted.

The Longer You Wait The Harder It Will Seem

Our initial reaction is often ~ I am not going to apologize when I know full well I was right in what I said (or did) ~ or I JUST CANNOT forgive them. They hurt me too badly.

If they had not hurt you, then forgiveness would not even be an issue.

Apology ~~ an admission of error or discourtesy accompanied by an expression of regret.

To forgive ~ to cease to feel resentment against an offender or to pardon.

For the sake of the enhancement of the relationship ~ and for the sake of your health ~ LET IT GO.
.

I Just Simply Can Not Do That

Sure you can!

There is often a strong temptation to refrain from doing what we know is right because of pride. The flesh would have us to loose a barrage of unflattering remarks.

This is ~ unfortunately ~ definitely true in extra close personal relationships. Remember to ~ think before you speak in all cases, but especially in these extra delicate situations such as spouse to spouse or parent to grown children.

1 Corinthians 10:13
The Message (MSG)
13 No test or temptation that comes your way is beyond the course of what others have had to face. All you need to remember is that God will never let you down; he’ll never let you be pushed past your limit; he’ll always be there to help you come through it.

You Can ~ You Should ~ You Must

Our challenge is to walk by faith ~ not by sight.

It starts with making a decision to develop your relationship with your Creator through daily prayer and meditation.

Hebrews 11:6
New King James Version (NKJV)
6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Proverbs 3:5-6
New King James Version (NKJV)
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;

6 In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths.

Romans 8:5
New King James Version (NKJV)
5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.

Don't Put It Off Any Longer

Wisdom dictates that you ~ BE GENTLE ~ and ~ not procrastinate.

Proverbs 15:1
New King James Version (NKJV)
15 A soft answer turns away wrath,
But a harsh word stirs up anger.

James 3:17
New King James Version (NKJV)
17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.
