Happy New Year!!!

Each year a promise is made, and during the year it is broken, well I say, "No more broken promises."

Resolution

Today promises are made
The moment has come to boaster the words
The time seems so ripe
That the words
That they could take flight
And the next day magic will unfold upon life
And all will be set right

Yet here we are
Here I am
I am
Hung over
The magic seems lost and faded in the twilight
The day rolls on and back to work
Toil and move no changes made…

Life goes on as it was?
No…
NOT THIS TIME!!!

I have a name…
I have a voice…
I will be heard…
I something to say….

Eloquence may not grace my words….
I may stutter…
But I will be quiet no more…
And speak I will…

It’s New Year’s Day.

For me change is an ongoing process - just seize the chances as they come and when we become aware - siva

Interesting opening salvo... Last night my son and I finished our Harry Potter marathon. I fell asleep around 4:30, but woke briefly when #8 ended an hour later. Then we slept the day away, waking to eat and return to bed. Returning to a non-nocturnal schedule will prove difficult, I fear. And it's the same every year. Hope your 2014 is a good one -- and everything you make of it.
