Heart beats

On a rainy night, I was alone at my seaside dormitory sitting by the window and looking out into the dark street that glistened with reflections of the moon in the puddles of just-rained stagnant water.

I wondered about the strange nature that seemed quite mysterious to me and a thought passed over my inquisitive mind and I just felt a poem brewing within my heart.

Stethoscopic

Window panes transparent;
In palisades of darkness
The night turbulent.
Reflections on glossy esplanades,
Foggy images.

Wind gasps, dry leaves flutter,
tree dances exorcising the Nature.
Sands exhumed, mysteries tethered,
Time warps kindling the verges:
Cosmos twists in twirling Constitution.

Veins viscous with churning blood:
Heart rhythmic in exotic excitement
Undefined and perturbable.
Carven horizons esemplastic;
Verve of imagery stethoscopic.

Your poem was great, but I must say the summary was very inviting and encouraged further reading.

Thanks Mark,
for the remark about the summery and I felt surprised to see it came out better than the poem itself.

Delicia, Green, and Vance:

Thanks for the kind words.
You are all right.

I felt the immensity of beauty, mystery, timelessness "in palisades of darkness" imagery I portrayed in this lovely poem.
