Hey Loser!

Who has ever had a broken heart? Sure time heals it some but the pain lingers. For me, it helps to write out all my feelings and leave my pain on the page. Here we go.

LOSER

Listen to you telling me I'm nobody,
Look at you rejectin' me
'cause you think you're somebody,
Go ahead and say you don't need me
anymore,
Go on and say you don't want me no more,
Go ahead and walk away,
Go on and shut that door,
Now listen to me
telling you you're no longer anybody,
Look at me moving on
and walking into the arms of somebody,
Go ahead and say you need me again,
Go on and say you want me now,
you wanted me then,
Go ahead and turn to me,
Go on and see if I'll love you once more,
Now stop waiting,
Stop hesitating,
Stop pushing forever further away,
It's time to face your feelings,
the distortions you've chosen to ignore,
Now can you hear it in the distance?
Are you listening to its perpetual tone?
Now listen, it's fading fast
since I've been here alone,
That's right,
Go ahead and throw words around
full of anger and abuse,
How dare you spread lies and confuse,
But go on and continue using time as an excuse,
Go ahead and turn from me,
Go on and forget me
and take the chance
to see what will come to be.

Thanks Steve. Yeah, it always feels better to write it out and then you can start to heal.
