Hold Me....

Sometimes, we just need to be held...To hug someone can be so beneficial, so healing, and supportive...
Just the touch of another person's arms around you, can make the world seem all right again..after the darkness of a Storm...The power of being held, should never be dismissed lightly...Let the healing begin...

Hold Me...

Hold me, hold me and
tell me that you love me...
Shed light into my darkness,
help chase my shadows away...
Protect me from the cold,
bitter world outside...
Keep me warm and safe,
within your arms tonight.

You don't need to utter a word..
My heart knows yours so well...
A touch, soft, and loving,
needed and desired....
Not often I turn from
the world, but when I do...
I just want to be held,
and loved, cherished and needed..

Hold me, give me the
shelter of your warm loving arms...
Allow me the trust,
that once was so shattered...
That I thought could
never be made whole again...
You give me back faith...
You give me back hope...Hold me...

That little girl, still is
somewhere deep inside me,
so damaged, but shedding her past...
But for now, my love,
every now and then,
she just needs to be held...
Hold me, hold me and
make me believe..
that you will never let me go...

Let me send you a big hug, too. Wonderful, Songbird - I don't know how you, as we say in America, hit the ball out of the park every time.
