Hollywood Love VS True Love

Hollywood is about sex appeal more than anything. What Hollywood depicts as love, most of the time, is actually lust. It’s time to rethink the most sung about subject…

Love At First Sight? Sounds Like Lust To Me

Love and lust. There is a fine line that exists between those two emotions that can sometimes be blurred. Lust is a naturally occurring carnal desire whose sole purpose is to bring man and woman together to propagate the human species. Without lust, it would be hard, if not impossible, for love to flourish between a partnered couple.

The strong motivation of sexual yearning serves as common ground between two distinct opposite ways of thinking of the two genders. Lust can be regarded as the initial spark that may possibly, but not always, eventuate in romance.

Love. The most gracious emotion of which humans are capable. It is the subject of many movies and songs. It is what makes life worth living. Falling in true love can make us want to become better people.

Homes and families are made of love. Not lust. Lust is a shallow feeling that comes and goes like the tide.

From The Male Perspective

Unlike women, for men, lust is a giddy experience. Logic is thrown out the window as the influx of testosterone takes over. You’ve heard the expression “love is blind”. Well lust can see no better. And it is for this reason that it is hard to make sense of your feelings at the start of a relationship. At this point, the line between love and lust is the thinnest.

Sex can be devoid of emotion while the rampant hormones are able to fool a person into thinking that they are actually in love. Lust is the reason that men are lead around by their “things”. His brain does not do the thinking when he is such a state.

The Real Deal

But when there exists actual love in the union, this primal act becomes a solid bond between two souls and the experience becomes somewhat spiritual.

So when you’re watching movies and you see the sweet perfect couple fall in love within a mere ten seconds after meeting, you know the word “love” shouldn’t be thrown about so freely. True love takes time to develop. You simply can’t fall in love with someone without knowing who they really are and seeing their lesser side.

It is through trials and tribulations, as a couple, that love is developed and strengthened.

Life is black and white. Grey areas are for those who sit on the fence. I think way too much for my own good. If I don't write, I'll go insane. So here I am.
