Home for Christmas

A white Christmas in New England is a wonderland to behold. My husband Mike has captured it beautifully in his photos with all the amazing contrasting azure perfection along the shores of Maine.

Over the Bridge

Across the bridge,
Over the golden edge of blue,
Seagulls fly
Into the bright cold of a winter sky.

Through the Snow

Passed the forlorn bare oak trees-
Soaring above the deep green forest of pine.
Below, glistening in the wonder of the first snow,
My village at dawn.

Marvelous Memories

Church bells toll
From white steeples...
Majestic echoes ringing.
A vintage song for the soul,
The December shores of New England.

Hello Denise my friend... Thanksgiving was just a wonderful family gathering at my youngest daughter's house...lots of laughter and a true thanksgiving for having each other being able to share a meal together...most of all prayers, that each precious soul- no matter where, be blessed with some place warm and safe and loved... Happy thanksgiving weekend Denise:0)

Hello Shishir, this is a small town, one of the few surrounding us that we live near. We did have a snow covered Thanksgiving. So happy you enjoyed these pictures, you can truly feel the cold just looking at them... lots of heavy woolly coats and hats are needed to adventure out...LOL, thank you my friend for stopping by:0)
