No matter how far we travel
no matter how comfortable we feel
There is no place like home
because home is where it all began

All the travelers return home
Home where it all began
Home like a ruby beacons burns
Through land
Through air
All the travelers return home

Up the mountain
Down the valley
Rivers flow to rejoice with oceans
From the east, west, north and south
Home is inevitable

Night spent in rooms of old
Too many houses in a year to live in
All with their good
Yet none is home

There aren't many places like home
Standing over there with joy
As the night of music and prayers pass
A beautiful story it tells
Reminding me of home

As the song of old about the savior's love plays in the gentle breeze that blows in the midnight hour
It seem peaceful
Leaving me with more ecstasy of home
My fear hunted into extinction as i worship the God of the beginning and the end

Home, Home, Home
Sunrise till sunset
Telegrams tremble like leaves from a wintering tree
Taxi in, on the long runways
The howl of homecoming rises
Perceived in countless other ways
How amazing it would be at the homecoming

As night turns into day
For time to become sure
Good time for a good dance
Good time for a good dine
It would be the best

As travelers speed up their coming
May God bless their journey
Blow them safe in the wind as they return

For as sure as the time
Life and all that is here is ours
Even if we go back to yesterday
Maybe breakdown and cry because of the grief, pain, hard and broken times, hurt and loneliness in trouble we faced
But yesterday is gone forever
Now there is excitement
A reason to celebrate today
And move again as we worship in Gods presence

I’m certain that the time is right to have fun
A memorial to remember when the time is done
What can you lose
Lead yourself and say yes to the homecoming dance
You won’t regret it
When the clouds lead us to glory land
Welcome to homecoming
