If you’re aiming to run a successful blog you will need content which people are not only going to read, but will keep your readers coming back, looking for more day after day...

Controversy!

This type of content can change readers into loyal fans.
There is also a greater likelihood you will get your content shared on the social networks like Facebook, which will in turn, bring in hundreds of new readers to your site. It really doesn't matter what your blog is about, there are certain styles of posts which readers love and will keep coming back to again and again.

As A writer, Are You Running Out Of Forest?

The best way to get people hooked on your articles is to build a successful blog which will remain popular for years to come. Have a good look at some of the best types of niche related blogs and see where you can copy their styles into your posts. While some of them will fit better with certain niches, there would be others that will somehow just work, no matter what you are writing about.

When I’m in such a situation, I take a while to acquaint myself with the various distinguishing qualities which make them so appealing or addictive. If it looks like it will be taking my blog to the next level, I include those qualities into my related post. The slogan,:"Are You Running Out Of Forest?" I have created this slogan to fuel the controversy angle among the writing fraternity who visit my web. What I'm asking them, is if they are ever vigilant in their choice of content, or have they perhaps become complacent, like when Tarzan® swings through the forest trusting, that there will always be trees to swing around in, so why worry?

Is Your Stuff Still Resonating With Your Readers?

I have discovered that controversy in my content really makes the difference. Regardless of what type of post I am writing, there are few things which will get more people reading my stuff, than a controversial topic. So, whether you choose a topic from the news or you find something from within your specific niche area, people have a variety of opinions, controversy is by far the most addicting of topics to write about and if they are of a personal nature, or close to home, they are that much more special.

I have various web pages and blogs and by far my most visited site, is called: Spices Of Life From Your Kitchen Shelf
The blog is 3 years old and has been visited 35000 times, about 1000 per month, so I guess I must be doing something right somewhere.

You use the word addicted. I suppose that is where we need readers to be addicted to our words. Hmmm... good thoughts.

Hello Peter, I use the word as a metaphor, like being "addicted' to TV etc. and you are completely correct in your assumption, if we require a loyal readership of our content, we need to deliver what they like reading. I am presently trolling my various posts like wikinut and the half dozen other article publishers I write for, to form an assessment, of just why I end up with an exhilarating average readership of 1000 per month and to then give them more of those posts. Thank you for your generous star award and for your valuable comment.

Hi Tichimes, I concur, the more controversy we can come up with, the better, to constantly strive toward slaking our eternal craving (addiction) for new and exciting things. Thank you for your valued input.

Some folks have written right here on Wikinut that I am a "controversial writer." Just today, I mentioned to my husband that writers here said that about my writing.

"Your writing is not controversial. It's the truth, and truth is never controversial," my husband announced confidently.

I can say that I am indeed writing referenced, sourced, scientifically sound truth yet I am called a controversial writer. This suggests my readers here wouldn't recognize truth when they read it in black and white.

I do it all the time, I also use Blogspot by Google everything is free there, even the hosting and they (Google) are way less critical on some stuff. I have 250 websites on there and do it all the time. Also go to other similar sites, and Youtube and wherever you comment, about food, comment and add your recipe links there. Above all, have fun!

1st November 2016 (#) Hi , Thank you for being on my readers list. I have been searching for about 2 years for a write for cash site which works as easily as wikinut and pays like Bubblews did in their heyday! One of our wikinutters, passed this information on to me of a brand new cash writing site which is similar to Bubblews and it pays its writers for original work. I joined and find their pay system very rewarding.
If you could use a few extra dollars like I do, and would like more details please join here:

or here:

Kindest regards,

Andre' (Tranquilpen)
PS: Many wikinut and Bubblews writing community are already there!
