Every day we wake into a new day, I am always waiting for it to show me its glory.

I Awoke Today

I awoke today.
Awoke into a world of adventure,
Into a world of the unknown.
What was going to happen?
I didn’t know,
I never know.
Plans may be made
But this day may be changed,
Changed by chance,
Changed by circumstances,
But this is what makes life so wonderful.
Although the unknown may be frightening,
It can also be exciting.
The day may be fraught with danger,
But it is more likely
To be filled with wonder,
With wonder, beauty and love.
So each day I awake
I am filled with wonder,
Wonder and curiosity.
I awoke today.
