A subtle observation about your deep, beautiful, and ever changing soul.

I Can See Your Soul

So many people calling themselves
Athiests.
The same people who pray when things go
Wrong.
Always giving God an if-then statement.
If you do this, then I'll always be
Good.
If you do that, then I'll
Believe.

God exists if they want something,
Then disappears when they don't.
The truth is,
They've given up.
They just want
Reassurance.
To know someone still cares.
Why else would they briefly
Change their
Belief?

Momentary weakness.
The idea that nobody
Cares,
That you are alone,
Is so depressing it brings forth that
Desperation.

I've felt it.

Too.
