A poem about the fear of life. The fear of living life, the fear of letting go, but no matter how we struggle with the fear, life goes on with or without us. perhaps we should rethink before we start avoiding chances in life in fear we might get rejected. sometimes in life there are no second chances, and it is a shame to live with an eternal question "what if" that would haunt us all our lives.

I Held Life In My Hand So Tight

I held life in my hand so tight
The loss of it, I feared.
I built a cage. Locked it inside.
I cherished it so dear.

But it matters not how many chains,
Or how many locks I exhaust.
When time has come, it finds its way
To slip away untouched.
