I Stood in Silence.

just another short poem about being alone on a hill and taking in the surroundings. This one appeals to me as it only took 5 minutes to write, off the cuff.

I Stood in Silence

I stood in silence,
On the hill,
Taking in the
Natures thrill,
Birds above me,
Trees below,
And many plants,
That tried to grow.

The Sun was out.

The sun was out,
There was no rain,
Just some bees,
A distant train,
The grass did rustle,
On the ground,
As little creatures,
moved around.

The Land Before me

The land before me,
Was in bloom,
Plenty nature,
And loads of room,
Pictures, paintings,
Are not the same,
As being out there,
In natures game.

At war with the snails
