When you're not sure what you want, you begin to live for everyone but yourself.

Imposter - by Natasha Head

Can you believe that I know how you feel?
Deep down inside where nothing is real?
Convinced by somebody else's warped memory,
That this ego you project has become "the real me".

Can you believe that I know how you ache?
Heart splintered in two at the hands of fate?
Always pushing so hard for somebody's dream,
When it's not your own, then what does it mean?

How hard can you fight when the cause is not your own?
How hard can you rally, when the pain you can't own?
How hard do you hurt when you can't see the blood?
How hard do you hang on, when you can't trust the love?
