This poem describes a depressive state caused by love

In Melancholy

Describing my dejection
Dwelling within me
Downing my spirits
Abstract but not absent
Like I'm seated with a great load upon my head
And my efforts to ascend and rise again
Become a struggle against the weight upon me
The insanity of this lunacy
Engulfing my within
The end of my folly of fantasy
And now the bitter sweet relief of reality
Welcoming the unwelcome
For I have been wandering asunder
But now I have wandered into a welcome wake-up
A melancholic wake up call
Only now do I see the result of my self infliction
Thus comes the deal of my healing
That I have to go through this melancholy
In melancholy
