In Time

How often do we think about time? We use time as a clock for events and daily pursuits. But, what is time? There is far more to time than we realize.

In Time

All of the seconds,
All of each hour,
All of the years
Are within our power
To respond to time.

Serene or in storm
We pass through each day
Wondering why
We feel a certain way,
We tend to forget time.

Lost or in searching
The moments go by,
Do you remember when
You did not have to try
To forget time?

We seem to abandon
The minutes we seek,
Without time's resolution
We will grow weak
As troubles side with time.

Pack up your fears,
Go as far as the sea,
Throw them into the tide,
Set yourself free,
You must find the time.

We should do our best
Each day we are alive
To honor each breath
That helps us survive

Heey Highlander ~ Congratulations on your three book publications. Can you give their titles, (in case I missed it.) Well, I wrote a similar poem subject so I am on the same poets mindset page as you I guess, lol. The last lines, of this poem about "time", thrills my interest to keep trying in life. (My one question; how did you go about and by whom to publish?) Thank you for this great ending of your poem, " To honor each breath
That helps us survive

(Love it). Take care.
