India is also known as Hindustan and as a Hindu nation they have now completely banned beef.

India's Forbidden Meat

Over recent times alot of debate and arguments arose over the unbanning of beef in India.Non hindus feel that India is unjust to them. They feel deprived of the beef diet as well as the economic benefit the beef industry provides to their society.Politicians and religious leaders are going backward and forward trying to justify the unbanning of beef.In certain places like Maharastra beef is now completely banned.Bull and bullocks were at one stage allowed by Indian Government to be slaughtered for sale but now there is a complete ban of all forms of beef.Currently any one found selling beef will be fined ten thousand rupees or five years imprisonment. In India water buffalo is also considered beef and it makes up majority of beef sale in India.Water buffalo has no sacred religious connection to hindus and is accepted as beef slaughter.

I will like to give my opinion about why it is okay for beef to be banned in India. The source of Hindu religion lies in India. The Indian religion goes back more then five millions years. The non Hindu communities in India are always make insulting comments about the cow being considered sacred by Hindus. But they forget to realise that they religion also have do and don'ts.Hindus make up eighty percent of the population in India.Twenty percent of the people in India are of another religion due mainly to conversion. It's not India's fault that some decided to change their religion.Hindus ask for nothing more but tolerance because Hinduism is the original and largest religion in India.Hindus cannot change their colours to please everyone because it will loose it's culture and religion.Indians are minority in South Africa and they cannot change the rights of the majority. We all got to be tolerant.

The cow is sacred for various reasons.Krishna says,'of all the animals the cow is the most sacred to me'.Now can hindus disrespect this by allowing cow slaughter. It is mentioned in sacred texts that when one leaves the body the astral cow provides the journey from earth to heaven.According to vastu texts the cow absorbs positive energies from earth. Therefore certain excretion from the cows are used for purification and used in religious prayers. There are volumes of texts about Hinduism and all that hindus want from its people in India is to respect its religion.

Well, you lafanga are based in South Africa. Think it is time for you to take your dhothi kapda and sit with a spinning wheel in Loin Cloth in Porbhandar or Thar Desert without cows and buffaloes and preach from there.
Hindus are not the only ones out there, you have other religious minorities and your religious intolerance is what causes wars in India. You are a RSS/VHP supporter for the BJP. I support all religions but I don't support religious segregation. Was married to a BJP-RSS/VHP supporter who was into all this, I am Christian BTW. Never had a hassle not eating beef as it is a aging agent.
