This is a poem about searching, falling and rising,it is two poems and this is the first one, enjoy

Into The Deep

you are the wave
that gently pushed me
you are the wind
that always soothes me
you are the fire
that keeps me warm
through the cold

you are in this land
that feeds me
like the water
that quenched me
you are the breathe
in the air
that i breath

you are in
every lovers embrace
and the love
in every mothers face
are you the child
that will never grow old

wherever i walked
you were the ground
when i listen
you are every sound
only in the whisper
were the words
meant for me

you are my companion
beneath the stars
as you tell me stories
of who we are
always saying
there's nothing to fear

you buried a desire
within my soul
to seek out all
that is unknown
all that will be
is a forgotten memory

but i became chained
between two shore lines
battered by the storms
in my mind
oh how i tried
i could not break free
as i sank
into the deep

i reveled in the battles
that raged on
yet how empty i found
every battle song
as every death
became a part of me
deeper again
into the deep

to be continued

Nice poem, Gabriel. Life gives us many chances to find our feet again and again. It is how we learn the lessons that matters in the end. And also to change what we can and accept those we cannot - siva
