It Is In All Our Hands...

If we all did out bit, and realised how much our Earth is suffering, we could all make a change. It just starts with one man, and one step..
We hold the world in our hands. We have plundered and caused devastation to our climate, now let the healing begin...

This Is Our Earth...

This Earth, this Globe, this Planet ours...
Is spinning out of all control..
Freak weather, Famine, Climate change..
Tearing apart, what once was whole.

Tired planet, damaged, drained..
As we abuse each every source..
And now we reap what we have sown..
What wasn't given, we took by force..

We Must Take Care...

Few areas remain untouched,
reminding us of what we've done...
Once bountiful, what once was new,
is now the shell that it's become...

Can we change... Is it too late?
Can we undo? Can we repair?
Can we turn back and make it whole?
Do we, as a Race now really care?

It Is In All our Hands...

Each individual could do his bit...
But pulling together we have to do..
But those in Business have to heed,
this plaintive cry, from me and you..

Corruption, Greed, destroys, and tarnish..
To make a change, it is not too late..
This Earth, this Globe, this damaged Planet...
Is in all our hands... Leave it not to Fate...

"Corruption and Greed" are the two selfish traits of humans that have caused all the damage to the planet.

This poem is a reminder to protect this life-giver.

I wish life had been simple and not as complex as it had become today. It has seemed so real that population explosion has literally weighted down our Mother Earth, let alone the bane of technological advances. Thanks for the sharing, Bev, and congrats on the star page again.
