It is a race...

We are all running an race every day, missing little enjoyments of life

Every day is a race

It is always a race we are running,
No time to stand and stare.
We start the race to get money,
Money to fulfill needs,
Needs when fulfilled make us happy,
Faster we run, more we earn,
Needs we meet easily, Luxuries we long for,
Faster we run, more we earn,
Luxuries we earn, still more we seek,
Forgetting to be happy, all we do is running,
Not knowing how to end the race.
Every day morning all we hear is
“Ready, set, go.”

No time..

No time to sit and stare
At the silver moon and glittering stars,
No time to smell the aroma
Of roses bloomed that day.
No time to see the paintings,
No time to read the poems,
No time to hold hands in beaches against waves.
Today we are busy churning dollars out of everything.
Let’s see tomorrow, if we find time
To sit and stare at the moon and stars,
To smell the roses and see the paintings,
To read the poems and hold the hands.
