Just For Joyce...

We are all saddened to learn of the passing of our Wikinut friend and Author,
Joyce Singha.
In having been away from Wikinut for a while, I have only recently heard this sad news.
I have written this in celebration of us having shared a part of Joyce's life here
on Wikinut.

Joyce Singha Wikinut Author And Friend

Joyce joined us here at Wikinut on 3rd Jul 2014, and published 59 pages

Her Author Profile reads-:
Writer, Thinker, Homeopath.
Background in Literature, Films and Homeopathy. Interests in Politics & Human Idiosyncrasies. Humor is essential

We learn a lot about a person from their writings, and in having got to know Joyce through her publications, I am sure that those of us who followed her posts would all agree that her profile is very much compatible with the person Joyce was.

Strong Independent Woman

This is my musical tribute to Joyce, it perfectly sums up her attitude to life.
A strong independent woman who never held back in expressing her views, displaying the courage of her convictions in a very intellectual, non aggressive manner.
Joyce made herself heard and defended her beliefs with admirable strength and dignity.
She was very much a woman of today's world and could hold her own in every sense of the word.

Passionate About Her Beliefs

Joyce was passionate in her beliefs, and as is the case with life in general, what one person believes, it's inevitable that another will always be in the opposite corner.
Let's face it, as individuals we all hold fast our personal beliefs and views, so we are never all going to be in agreement because we all see society and life issues through our individual perceptions
So emotions run high and clashes of opinion never fail to evolve, but Joyce could hold a good debate, vast differences of opinion or not, she earned the respect of all here for her ability to stand her ground.

A Great Sense Of Humour

This is the first post I read written by Joyce.
Ding Ding Ding We Have A Winner

I picked up on her sharp sense of humour there and then, we followed each other's posts from then on and became friends.

Joyce's sense of humour was apparent within many of her posts, she often used it 'beautifully' in expressing her 'disapproval' of certain personalities and political figures.

Rest In Peace Joyce...

You leave behind a footprint
Right here on the Wikinut site
You will never be forgotten
Rest you now in Peace
And From all...a sweet goodnight x

In Loving Memory Of Joyce Singha

Joyce and I were at opposite poles in our political beliefs, but we were very good friends on Wikinut. Though we disagreed passionately, she was always gracious and considerate. I miss her deeply.

A great tribute Mariah. Thank you.

Just lovely words from you
Steve..yeah Joyce had a few sparring partners in the arena of political views, and yes.. you two sparred with a passion lol but you both loved the challenge of a good old debate whilst remaining friends and that's what it's all about, I know you will miss her as we all will.
Thank you Steve

A well deserved tribute, Mariah. Joyce was one of a kind and I did comment on few of her posts. She had strong views and put them across with resolute confidence; she could stand her ground. A powerful writer, she addressed me as Siva-ji to show her affection for a fellow writer hailing from India.

Her passing was a shock to me but that is how life plays out; let us celebrate the good times we had while praying for her family - siva

So, it is a lovely tribute on your part wee hen, to remind us all of those we miss that have enriched our lives ,albeit for such a short time, such as Joyce .
God bless you wee lassie ..

I am definite Ms, Singha would feel very happy to revel in the memories of her dear friends at Wikinut. And indeed, "She was a passionate writer" sums up all her articles. There were one or two about taking her children to school...it still remains in my mind. And as Mr.Kinsman so aptly put it, "You don't have to look further than the adversary, to know the opponent." She was a true fighter, and may her spirit encourage us when we face some big hurdle in our writing career.
God rest her soul in peace.
