An interesting story. Keeping Faith by Jodi Picoult is a great book to read.

Keeping Faith by Jodi Picoult

Keeping Faith by Jodi Picoult is an interesting story about a little girl named Faith and her mother, Maria. It is a spiritual story that keeps you hooked right through to the end. It is, also, a very emotional and powerful story that will keep you entertained and hooked. The book is available to buy as a paperback or on kindle.

What is the Story About?

The story is based on Faith White, a 7 year old little girl who is the daughter of Maria White. When Maria catches her husband with another woman, her life starts to fall apart. Her husband then leaves her and Faith, walking straight into another relationship with the woman named Jessica who he had an affair with. Maria is devastated and cannot cope, so she seeks help from a professional who puts her on Prozac. Slowly, she begins to start again, until she realizes that Faith is talking to an imaginary friend. Maria's insanity starts to slip as Faith starts to tell her mother who her imaginary friend really is. Faith tells Maria that she is speaking to God, but then more things to start happen. Faith starts to perform miracles. She starts to heal people by just touching them. Of course, everything starts to spiral out of control when the press turns up outside Maria's home. Also, a guy called Ian Fletcher who has an anti-evangelical television show who does not believe in God camps out outside Maria's house to try and get her talk. What Maria and Ian do not know is that the two of them might end up together someday!

Is the Book Keeping Faith Worth Reading?

The answer is yes. I enjoyed reading this book and could not put it down for a second. The story captures you right from the beginning. I would recommend this book to anyone, but mostly women would love this story. It is thrilling, romantic and emotionally powerful throughout the entire book. I rate this book 9 out of 10.
