According to Buddhism, only the Arahants, Anagami, Sakadagami, and Sotapanna are able to know their next lives.

Labourer's Song

Men have to sweat and toil for the handful of meals daily
under fierce hot sun and torrential rains
or all kinds of dangers and pains.
But a few do nothing of that sort
they relax in the air-conditioned office
and money comes rolling in.
Alas ! don’t blame the creator
for you may never find him.
Don’t blame others either
for your fate may be of your own making.
Haven’t you ever wondered
why edible plants must not grow readily
like the ordinary grass ?
so that you and I could lie in the field
to munch the meals free of charge ?
Why shouldn’t we live like the buffaloes
never to bother about food and shelter
with nothing to compete and fight for?
Our existence is surely at the expense of others
Where did we come from and where are we going?
When we know the answer we wouldn’t have been here.
