Labyrinth.

Each person lives their own maze, it's up to them to find their way through.

Labyrinth.

Excretions of the epidermis,
Forced only by the quick lashes of life's whip.
Unexpected at the least, its sting is too quick.
Impossible to foresee, the radar missed the blip.

A labyrinth of one gateway,
Trap-infested, each are stricken by it's tip.
For even no given reason, life assaults our being.
Still at all times, the pain is attached at the hip.

We look to the sky for answers,
Waiting for the hand of God, from the clouds it would dip.
Denied most are from the faith,
Without a crutch, most find themselves limp.

In this metaphoric maze of unexpected events,
We brace ourselves daily, for the everlasting trip.
This life we consume...every breath that we steal;
It's all just a waste, if we surrender to this whip.

Life has no other definition other than what it's given. That being said, I'm still making mine.
