Oh, this ghastly wind is just blowing leaves everywhere, isn't it just? You might just get a bunch of leaves from the trees landing all naturally, driven by the wind, into your food. But how natural is that? I'm not going to answer that.

Leafy greens?

After the first breaktime just before 10am, Mrs. Bera takes the class out onto the lawn to eat under a tree. Each child is supposed to bring their own food to school, but sometimes somebody doesn't have anything so Mrs. Bera always asks who has a sandwhich or slice of bread or something they can spare for this foodless kid.

There are lots of leaves lying under this trea. The boys have soon started a game in which they try to drop a leaf unseen from above somebody's lunchbox, into their lunchbox. They always miss but they seem to burst out laughing every time.

Of course, the idea is to make it look like the leaf fell from the tree, instead of from somebody's quick hand.

So, it's a naturally dropped leaf they want mmmmm? I can do that!

So, where everybody has failed at the game, I decided I'm going to accomplish the goal.

I pick up a leaf and just very quickly stretch as high as I can whilst in a sitting position, and let my leaf go.

It drops like a leaf, swinging this way and that, while also being driven forward somewhat by the breeze.

Bullseye!! It drops straight into the lunch box of the boy who is always starting this game, thinking he's so clever.

All the other boys burst out laughing, going "so then a leaf REALLY dropped into your lunchbox!"

Nobody knows no such thing happened. It was I, who finally succeeded at the game. They don't suspect a thing! Hee hee!!

To this day, they still think it was a leaf that actually fell naturally from the tree, into the guy's lunchbox. I rock!
